BoldTrail (formerly kvCORE) Pricing & Review (2026): Quote-Only Buyer's Guide

Last verified: September 29, 2026 against boldtrail.com (official site) and boldtrail.com/faq/ (official FAQ). BoldTrail publishes no prices — /pricing/ redirects to a gated "Get A Demo & Pricing" form. How we verify →

One-line verdict: BoldTrail is the next generation of kvCORE, built for brokerages and teams that want CRM, IDX, marketing, and back office in one platform. It's the heaviest platform on this site — and the least transparent to price-shop. This page is a buyer's guide for the demo process.

1. What BoldTrail is

BoldTrail is the successor to kvCORE, aimed at brokerages and multi-office teams rather than individual agents. It's a platform play: front-office CRM and marketing, plus back-office and recruiting products most CRMs here don't attempt.

2. The product lines (official)

BoldTrail sells four product lines — know which ones are in your quote, because "BoldTrail pricing" without this breakdown is meaningless:

  1. BoldTrail Platform (Front Office) — the Smart CRM, IDX website, marketing automation.
  2. BoldTrail BackOffice — commission tracking and brokerage operations.
  3. BoldTrail Recruit — agent recruiting tools.
  4. BoldTrail Marketplace — add-ons and integrations (e.g., Streams).

A solo agent realistically shops the Platform. A brokerage evaluates all four.

3. What we know (official) vs. what we don't

Verified on boldtrail.com:

  1. No public pricing anywhere — no Pricing link in the header or footer; /pricing/ redirects to the demo form ("Customized pricing for your business").
  2. Official FAQ: "Pricing depends on account size, the products included, and add-ons like Streams, BoldTrail BackOffice, or BoldTrail Recruit, so there's no single list price."

4. Pricing context (third-party, unverified)

Third-party estimates range roughly $249–$999/mo, most commonly cited around $495–$499/mo for solo/small-team configurations. These vary wildly by team size and which product lines are included — treat any single figure as unverified until it's on your written quote.

5. How to get a real quote: the demo playbook

  1. Decide which product lines you need first (Platform only? + BackOffice?). Don't let the quote bundle what you won't use.
  2. Bring your numbers: agent count, offices, monthly lead volume, current tech spend you're replacing.
  3. Get the itemized quote in writing: platform fee, per-seat cost, each add-on, implementation fee, and renewal terms.
  4. Ask who owns the data and the website if you leave — brokerage platforms have the most to lock in.

6. Before you sign: the six questions

  1. What's my all-in monthly cost, itemized by product line and add-on?
  2. Is there a contract term, and what does early termination cost?
  3. What are the implementation/setup fees, and what exactly do they cover?
  4. Which MLS markets are included, and what do additional markets cost?
  5. What happens to my agents' data, my website, and its domain if we leave?
  6. How are price increases handled at renewal?

7. Who it's for / who it's not for

Consider it if: you're a brokerage or a large team consolidating CRM + marketing + back office onto one platform, and you have the deal size to negotiate properly.

Skip it if: you're a solo agent or small team — this is the most platform you'll pay for and the hardest to price-shop. Cheaper, transparent options: Wise Agent ($49/mo flat), Follow Up Boss (no contract), Real Geeks (published bundle pricing).

FAQ

Is BoldTrail the same as kvCORE? BoldTrail is the next generation / successor of kvCORE — same lineage, current brand. Older kvCORE reviews describe the same product family but not current pricing or packaging.

Why is there no pricing page? Per the official FAQ, pricing depends on account size, products included, and add-ons — so there's no single list price. Every deal is custom.

Does BoldTrail work for solo agents? It can, but it's built for brokerages and teams. Solo agents usually find better value in the transparent, cheaper options on this site.

What should I watch for in the contract? Term length, auto-renewal, implementation fees, data ownership on exit, and which product lines are actually included vs. quoted as add-ons. Get all of it in writing.
