elevateMLS invests in SourceRE so Colorado Springs agents get governed AI listing access

Original headline: “elevateMLS Announces Investment in SourceRE, Partnership for Governed AI Connection to MLS Data” — SourceRE (vendor announcement), Oct 16, 2026

In an October 16 announcement, SourceRE said elevateMLS (formerly Pikes Peak MLS), the MLS for the Pikes Peak and southern Colorado regions, has invested in SourceRE and will use the SourceRE MCP to give members and consumers compliant access to MLS data through AI platforms. The firms say the MCP replaces portals, aggregators and scrapers as the go-between for AI and MLS data, acting as a single governed connection point the MLS controls; elevateMLS CEO Lori Miller also joined SourceRE's Board of Advisors. The release gives no member rollout date, pricing or list of supported AI apps.

Our take (opinion & analysis, not reporting)

For elevateMLS agents in El Paso, Teller and nearby Colorado counties: wait for your MLS's own how-to before pasting live listings into ChatGPT or Claude, and ask which AI apps will be allowed and how consent or audit logs work. If you already use AI for CMAs or market briefs, this is the path toward an MLS-approved feed instead of copy-paste. Agents elsewhere: another MLS is buying into SourceRE's MCP stack — ask your association what its AI-access policy is before you build workflows on scraped listing data.
