Ploti launches AI data layer for zoning, permits and ownership — $50/county via MCP

Original headline: “Ploti is the Real Estate Data Layer for AI” — Ploti (vendor announcement), Oct 14, 2026

In an October 14 PR Newswire release, Winter Garden, Fla.-based Ploti said it launched a real estate data layer for AI that lets assistants query zoning, permits, ownership, rezoning history, flood and utility data pulled from county and city governments, with each dataset traced to its source. The company says it has identified 57,818 local datasets and offers queryable coverage across 40 states; AI tools that support Model Context Protocol (including ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini) can connect, or teams can use Ploti's own agent on web, Mac or Windows. Pricing is self-serve with no contract, starting at $50 per county per month with a seven-day trial at Ploti.ai; figures on dataset counts and acquisition speed are company-reported.

Our take (opinion & analysis, not reporting)

For investor-focused agents and land brokers: pick one or two counties you actually farm, run the seven-day trial through the AI assistant you already use, and spot-check a few zoning or permit answers against the county portal before you trust them in a client email. This is public-records/AI infrastructure, not an MLS or CRM replacement — keep listing status and comps in your MLS. If your brokerage already pays a big data vendor, compare seat and export limits against Ploti's per-county pricing before you add another bill.
