BoldTrail CRM now lets agents run contacts and follow-ups from ChatGPT or Claude

Original headline: “Inside Real Estate Launches BoldTrail MCP, Connecting BoldTrail to ChatGPT, Claude, and the Assistants Agents Use Every Day” — Inside Real Estate (vendor announcement), Oct 13, 2026

In an October 13 announcement, Inside Real Estate said it launched BoldTrail MCP, which uses the open Model Context Protocol so agents, teams and brokerages can connect assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude to their BoldTrail CRM and turn plain-language requests into CRM actions. The company lists examples including a prioritized day plan from current BoldTrail activity, a contact briefing before a call, logging a note and scheduling a follow-up, drafting and sending emails or texts, assigning contacts to campaigns, and surfacing contacts that have not been touched in weeks. It says BoldTrail BackOffice MCP launched earlier, and that the two together give front-office and back-office visibility through MCP so brokerages can ask about a deal from conversion to close; the release does not name pricing, rollout markets or which BoldTrail plan tiers include the feature.

Our take (opinion & analysis, not reporting)

For BoldTrail users: ask your broker or Inside Real Estate rep whether MCP is on for your account, which assistants are allowed, and what a connected AI can read or change in your CRM before you wire ChatGPT or Claude to live contacts. Treat the day-plan and cold-contact examples as things to verify in a sandbox, not as proof every team gets every action on day one. If you are comparing CRMs, put open AI connectors next to lead routing on your checklist the same way eXp, Lofty and SourceRE MCP moves already pushed the industry.
