Arizona MLS brokers can opt in, free, to put listings atop Google mobile search

Original headline: “ARMLS, HouseCanary expand Google Listings Program in Arizona” — HousingWire, Oct 13, 2026

HousingWire reports that Arizona Regional MLS (ARMLS), which serves more than 38,000 subscribers, signed a data agreement with HouseCanary so participating brokerages' active listings can appear in a carousel at the top of Google's mobile search results, above the pay-per-click ads, with the listing agent's name, brokerage and click-to-contact options. Unlike HouseCanary's six other MLS deals (Bright MLS, CRMLS, My State MLS, Permian Basin MLS, REcolorado and San Diego MLS), where brokers are opted in by default, ARMLS brokerages must opt in; agents and brokerages pay nothing to participate or for the leads, brokers can also enroll directly with HouseCanary, and opted-in ARMLS feeds are set to go live later this month. HouseCanary remains in Chapter 11 bankruptcy but says it keeps operating and expects to emerge before the end of 2026.

Our take (opinion & analysis, not reporting)

For Arizona listing agents: ask your broker whether the brokerage has opted in, because at ARMLS it isn't automatic, and remember brokers can also sign up directly with HouseCanary. Since these placements show your name and a click-to-contact button, check that your MLS contact details are current and that whoever answers those inquiries responds fast. With HouseCanary still in Chapter 11, treat this as a free extra exposure channel, not something to build your whole marketing plan around.
