Onsight's free Connections network puts agent-to-agent referral fee terms on record up front
Original headline: “Onsight Opens Connections, a Free National Referral Network Built by Agents, for Agents” — Onsight (vendor announcement), Oct 12, 2026
In an October 12 press release, Jericho, N.Y.-based Onsight said Connections, its national referral network for real estate professionals, is now open to agents across the country, letting agents, lenders, attorneys, contractors, title and insurance providers and other vendors connect and refer business to each other. For agent-to-agent buyer and seller referrals, referral-fee terms are captured up front and visible to both sides, and an in-app national map and directory helps agents find a local agent when a client moves to another market. Onsight says Connections is free forever to licensed agents, brokers, mortgage professionals and supporting vendors, and sits alongside its Onsight LeadGen open-house lead capture and follow-up tool.
Our take (opinion & analysis, not reporting)
Free sign-up and referral terms on record are the hooks, but the release doesn't say whether Connections syncs with Follow Up Boss, Lofty or any other CRM, so log every referral you send or receive in your own CRM too, with the agreed fee and the other agent's details. Before counting on it for a relocating client, check how many agents in the target market have actually joined, since a referral directory is only as useful as its local coverage. Keep using whatever referral agreement your broker requires alongside it.
