Cotality puts its property, valuation and MLS trend data inside Claude with a new MCP connector

Original headline: “Cotality Launches Claude Connector to Deliver Trusted Property Intelligence in AI Workflows” — Cotality (vendor announcement), Oct 12, 2026

In an October 12 press release, Cotality said it launched the Cotality Connector for Claude, listed and verified in Anthropic's Claude directory and powered by Cotality's MCP server, so authorized enterprise users can pull Cotality data into Claude without custom integrations or IT-led development. At launch, subject to each user's licensing, it covers CLIP property IDs, property characteristics, MLS-aggregated market trends (listing and rental trends, Home Price Index and HPI forecasts), climate-risk analytics such as roof age, and valuations from Total Home Value, tax assessor values and comparable-property insights. Cotality says its MCP server enforces authentication so users only reach data they are licensed to use, and the connector is available now to Cotality customers through the Claude directory.

Our take (opinion & analysis, not reporting)

This is built for enterprise Cotality customers, not solo agents, so the practical question is whether your brokerage or MLS already licenses Cotality data and could turn the connector on. If it does, treat Claude's answers as a starting point for pricing and listing prep and check values and comps against your MLS before anything reaches a client. Together with the Lofty, eXp and SourceRE MCP moves we've covered, it's one more sign that the data behind your CRM and pricing tools is being wired into AI assistants, so ask your vendors what they connect to and who controls access.
