Sotheby's International Realty is moving advisors onto Compass's all-in-one platform

Original headline: “Inside SIR's white-glove rollout of the Home Platform” — Inman, Oct 8, 2026

Sotheby's International Realty's company-owned brokerages began moving advisors onto Compass International Holdings' Home Platform on July 1, with one-on-one onboarding, daily hands-on "action labs" and a six-week training series starting this October. CMO Bradley Nelson told Inman that adoption isn't mandated, and that the platform puts MLS listings and the brand's office exclusives in one search, alongside a CRM feature that flags past clients likely to sell.

Our take (opinion & analysis, not reporting)

Brokerage-wide platforms are replacing the separate MLS, CMA, CRM and email tools many agents juggle; if yours rolls one out, ask how you'd export your contacts if you ever leave. Contact portability is the CRM question that matters most when a brokerage chooses your tools for you.
