Planpoint exits stealth with interactive floor plans built for listings
Original headline: “Interactive Floor Plans Platform Planpoint Exits Stealth” — Commercial Observer, Oct 8, 2026
Montreal-based Planpoint emerged from stealth on October 8 with an interactive floor-plan and site-map platform it says has already logged 24.7 million unit views and 15.3 million floor plan downloads; CEO Laurent Cardinal says the tool is aimed at real estate agents, commercial or residential, to use in their listings. Buyers can tap a spot on the plan — say, the kitchen — and see the listing photo taken there, while property teams embed the branded experience on their own sites with availability shown in context.
Our take (opinion & analysis, not reporting)
Static floor plans are table stakes — an interactive plan pinned to your listing photos can lift engagement on new-build and rental listings without re-shooting anything. It is a listing-marketing tool, not a CRM, so evaluate it on cost per listing.
